Baby Fans Does it Again
Hello again kids, this is your next opportunity to get a $25.00 gift code (similar to a gift card but minus the card) for BabyFans.com. If you’ve been following along here, on LittleBrowne.com you’ve seen us do a couple of posts on Baby Fans, which is an awesome website to get some sports gear for your baby and toddler. Pictured below is the third thing we got from Baby Fans, that’s right…GO Niners!!
In the spirit of the NFL starting up shortly, everyone that leaves a comment below with their favorite sports memory (any sport, any time…even Olympics if that’s what you’re thinking about) will be put in the drawing. We will announce the winner this Friday!
And just to start things off, my favorite memory was Kirk Gibson of the 1988 Los Angeles Dodgers hitting the game winning homerun in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs in game 1 of the World Series…the spectacular thing is that he was injured and did not play in the game but came up as a pinch hitter…awesome!!
Fire away folks…sports memories!!

Texas Rangers right fielder, Nelson Cruz hit a walk off grand slam to win ALCS Game 2 on October 10, 2011! Go Rangers!
@HeatherBrowneDearborn I guess I missed that because I’m not a Rangers fan…LOL. You know I love ya!!
@MatthewLiberty
That’s OK that you aren’t a Ranger fan – I will educate poor Little Browne on your behalf!
@HeatherBrowneDearborn You’re such a good Aunt!!
@MatthewLiberty
Doing my best! Getting so excited for the countdown!
Matt Ryan’s (ATL QB) first pass as a NFL QB. He threw the ball to Michael Jenkins and Jenkins went for the touchdown!
@brawngirl02 I remember that…was that 3 or 4 years ago?? Great opening into the NFL for him!
@MatthewLiberty
It was 2008. Hopefully we can see some more good plays by him this season!
@brawngirl02 Gotcha…we shall see. We’re 49er fans as you can see but we always love good games!! Hoping for a good year. Cheers!
@MatthewLiberty
We love to see good games too! My husband and I are raising our son to love ATL sports teams! We just need our teams to play well for a whole season.
@brawngirl02 LOL, I hear ya. We had a good season last year (49ers did), but we need them to string a few good years together…like the old days.
@JessicaNow Cheers Jessica!!! & good morning! @babyfans_inc #Babies #BabyGear #Parenting
Getting to sit with Tony Oliva at a Twins game as Kirby Puckett Retired.
@dinger1504 Wow Puckett…I was never really a Twins fan but I loved watching that dude play!! From what I recall too, he was a stellar guy, never in any trouble. I miss those days of baseball.
I got to introduce my son to Bret Favre at the Can-Am NFL game in Toronto about 12 yrs ago. Was a Pepsi moment:)
@997dave Dave…that’s certainly a legendary moment. Something about sports with “fathers and sons” too, not leaving the ladies out but there’s often a bond there for a Dad and his boy!! Thanks my friend!
Definitely my favorite memory was going to the England v. Colombia soccer match up at Giants stadium with my brother and dad. The atmosphere was ccompletely electric for a game that didn’t really matter (it was a friendly).
@JayZeis1 What year was that Jay?? If I’m not mistaken the only soccer game I’ve ever been to was at the Los Angeles Olympics in ’84.
